Braxhaven
            Rottweilers

Rescue Dogs

It was later determined that Bender had suffered injuries to that of being thrown from a moving vehicle.  At 4 months of age this little puppy under went extensive hip surgery and later knee surgery. After 8 weeks of loving care Bender was back on his feet and looking for a forever home.

Braxhaven therapy consisted of good food, human kindness, massages, Careful exercise and intensive love from Bob & Braxton&ldots;I cant get over how caring and concerned they were.

We named him Bender as in "Fender Bender" for being involved in a MVA.  Bender has been the inspiration to the Lakeland Humane societies emergency fund for animals that need operations and extensive care.  Unfortunately due to lack of finances, many dogs like Bender have to be euthanized.

The Miracles of "Bender"

I found Bender at the local humane society in need of repair...

At just 3 months old this little guy was found wondering in a highway ditch.  When he was brought to the shelter the extent of his injuries went unnoticed for almost a month. He was initially treated for a deep laceration on his right leg, mental trauma, malnutrition and a broken spirit.

After the staples had been removed, I took him to the local doggie spa For a much needed bath. It was that very day when Benders life took the next

Miracle phase.. He met his new forever parents who just happen to come in that afternoon. After hearing about his cruel start in life, Karen & Debbie opened their hearts and home to this brave little man (as they affectionately call him.)

Digging is theraputic!

    Name :Bowser
    12 month old Coonhound cross.
    Neutered male

Very loving, quiet, gentle young boy. He has a beauitful shine to his black coat and deep brown eyes. He is a very good dog!!!

    Great News!!!
    Bowser has been ADOPTED!

Good with people and other dogs, no issues noted with cats. On a recent vet check he was only 43lbs !!!! Poor Bowser has lost a lot of weight since he was surrendered. He didnt have much to loose to begin with. Currently he is on Eagle Pak puppy food and is recieving a side dish of hamburger, raw eggs and other goodies to help him regain his weight.

Crate trained, stays by you on walks. He's not big on barking. He would make a wonderful obiendence dog. Unfortunatley it appears that Bowser was in a home that didnt play much with him, as he doesn't understand what toys are for.

    Name: April

April's family didnt feel that she was getting the attention she deserved, due to a change in circumstances.

So we fostered her until she found a home...

April has been adopted to a fantastic couple and gets to work with them  everyday!!  Lucky Girl. (she goes by Sophie now)
